Here are some Easter gifts for my family (we are getting together this coming weekend, so "shhh"...don't tell them I have made these!) =)

The base is a piece of scrap mat board. I got them from a friend that works in a frame shop. 

These were inspired by the Workshops on the Go® Buzz and Bumble Scrapbooking Kit (G1054) projects.

I'll be making variations on this photo of my sons for my mom and sisters-in-law:

They can be displayed on an easel or hung as ornaments (just punch holes and put a pretty ribbon on top!). I haven't decided what to do yet...but I think I might just add the ribbon! What do you think? Ribbon or no ribbon?

Wonderful Fabulous You Card

Easter is almost here! I cannot believe it!

I made this card for a class that I'll be teaching in April.

I'm also entering this card in the "We're so Egg-cited for Easter!" Challenge at H2H Challenge Blog.
OK, so the card doesn't have eggs nor does it say "Happy Easter" (at least, not that you can see), but still...doesn't it look Easter-ish? =)
Birds always remind me of Easter...but where is spring??? Why is it still so cold???

Anyway...
Easel cards are awesome! And this one has the emboss resist technique.

Sensational Easter Easel Card - H2H Challenge

I have a few techniques I want to try out (eventually)...and one of them is the easel card! 

So, I did a mini one just to get the hang of it! The card base is only 3 x 4.25 inches. 

And I am also entering this card in the "Mustache" Challenge at Heart 2 Heart CTMH Challenge Blog...so, I added a mustache to the bunny...quite charming, don't you think? =)

April Workshops/Classes

These are the upcoming workshops/classes at Hobby Lobby Vernon Hills!
If you live in the area and are interested in joining, check here for dates and info.

Notes for all Scrapbooking Workshops: 

1. If you are planning to attend, please purchase the class kits at least 12 days before the Workshop to make sure you'll have the supplies in time for the class!

Option A. Purchase them here, from my blog (I use PayPal), and I will order them for you. They will be delivered to your home, unless otherwise arranged (if you would like the papers pre-cut, for instance). The "ADD TO CART" buttons are on the right side of my blog.

But for the classes, you don't have to purchase them, if you don't want to! You can use mine!

Weekend Projects: Fast and Furious Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for my nephew, who had a birthday party this past Saturday.

The truck and the wheels were cut out or die-cut and raised with 3-D foam tape for dimension.

Supplies used: stamp from Later Sk8r Scrapbooking Kit and Fast and Furious stamp set, 3-D Foam Tape (Close to my Heart - CTMH); Memento ink pads (Rich Cocoa, Tuxedo Black, Pear Tart and London Fog), Brilliance Gamma Green ink pad, clear embossing powder (Tsukineko), heat gun, circle die (Spellbinders), and Cuttlebug machine.

Weekend Projects: Floral Tri-Fold Birthday Card

I always wanted to make a tri-fold card...but never really got to it...maybe because I didn't have the "right" stamps...
And then, I bought the stamp set below from CTMH and the roses are just perfect for it! The stamp set is called "Love Blooms" (C1511) and you can purchase it HERE.

I also used a stamp (banner) from the Cricut® Artiste Collection (Z1790) and the little flower from the WOTG Chantilly Scrapbooking Kit (G1053).
Other supplies are: Pink Glitter Gems (Z1807), Cotton Candy (Z2193) and Buttercup (Z2110) Ink Pads, foam tape (Z1151), and Spellbinders scallop oval die.

For Always CardMaking Kit

I was playing with WOTG (Workshops on the Go) For Always CardMaking Kit last week, and here are the cards that I made. I changed the card in the middle a little bit...I added foam squares to the panels, changed the sparkles' position and added Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel to the "O's".

For Baby Whale Card

A card for a new baby!
I'll be sending this card to a friend who had a baby boy! The photo is not great...but the whale, the starfish and the "for baby" tag are popped-up with foam tape.
